During the visit, Turunç provided information about facilities, new investments, R&D projects, and global growth strategies. He noted that they had set the goal of going public 17 years ago, saying, “We are awaiting approval from the Capital Markets Board to publicly offer our Marble Systems brand. We are preparing to offer 25 percent of our shares. 40 percent of the funds will be used for working capital needs. 30 percent will be used for new investments, focusing on solar energy, automation, and machinery systems, as well as marketing. The remaining 30 percent will be used to reduce financial expenses. The primary purpose of going public is to ensure the sustainability of the system we have established and further strengthen our corporate structure.”

Turunç noted that they transform marble extracted from mines into value-added products and stated that they aim to achieve increased production efficiency through automation investments in the coming period. Explaining their strong emphasis on R&D, Osman Cavit Turunç said, “Our energy-saving project in our slab production lines is one of the most valuable projects we've been working on, both for our own factories and for the industry. With this project, we aim to achieve 20 percent overall energy savings and 80 percent savings on energy consumed for heating the lines. All of the wood used in the packaging of the products we ship abroad is used as filler material in the US. We're working on an R&D project that will both protect our forests and recycle these materials, reintroducing them to the economy.”

Osman Cavit Turunç announced that they will first invest in rooftop solar power plants and then land-based solar power plants to meet their own needs due to recent rising energy costs. He said, "Energy is one of our largest production costs. We have prepared the infrastructure and submitted the application for our rooftop solar power plant project. With this investment, we aim to both meet the energy needs of our production facilities from the sun and contribute to a sustainable future."
