The company that exports the most processed natural stone award | Marble Systems Tureks Turunç Mining

All stakeholders in the Amorphous Natural Stone Project and Design Competition, organized by the Aegean Exporters' Association under the theme "Miners' Oscar Night," brought together industry stakeholders. Companies that exported value-added products in the processed natural stone and block natural stone categories in 2020 were recognized.

Tureks, with its high-quality infrastructure, has achieved a leading position in exports for its products. Its advanced R&D center, its ability to respond quickly and accurately to customer demands, and its prioritization of sustainability have earned Tureks Marble the 4th largest natural stone exporter. Tureks Marble exports natural stone to countries from Europe and Asia, from the Middle East to the Far East, and stands out with its extensive export market.

TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle emphasized the importance of value-added exports, saying, “Our duty is to further strengthen the ‘Turkish Stone’ brand and crown the positive atmosphere in global markets with our value-added exports. The natural stone sector, which provides employment for over 300 people, is also of great importance for its contribution to the promotion of our country. The columns and cladding at the entrance to the Saint Pier church in the Vatican are made of Afyon İscehisar marble. The marble used in the White House, where officials hold press conferences in the US, is Elazığ Cherry. The German Parliament, the French Parliament, the US House of Representatives, Disneyland, and countless other important venues are decorated with Turkish marble.”
