Great Interest in Marble Systems Tureks from the US: Trend towards Turkish Natural Stone Accelerates
The US's new tariffs on China have brought Türkiye to the forefront of the natural stone sector. Marble Systems Tureks Turunç Mining attracted significant attention, hosting visitors from 37 countries at the Marble İzmir Fair.
The high tariffs imposed by the US on products imported from China have made Türkiye an attractive alternative in the natural stone and marble sector. At the 9th Marble Izmir International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, held from April 12-30, the Marble Systems Tureks Turunç Mining stand was flooded with visitors from 37 different countries.

Osman Cavit Turunç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Marble Systems Tureks, commented on the developments in the American market with the following words:
"There are serious supply concerns in the US. Companies seeking to reduce their dependence on China see Türkiye as a reliable and sustainable supplier. By turning this demand into an opportunity, we can increase our country's export potential."
Turunç emphasized that the Turkish natural stone sector holds 40% of the world's reserves, stating that exports, especially to the US market, could exceed $500 million in the short term and $1 billion in the medium term.
Marble Systems Tureks' natural stone collections, including Calacatta Amber, Mayfair Gray Limestone, Iris Black and Diana Royal, along with its Victorian, Waterjet and Fluted mosaic series, attracted great attention at the fair.
